DB9 exhaust smoke
Discussion
I recently purchased a 2015 DB9 with 13k miles and a fsh.
The car runs beautifully as expected and has no issues.
However, the car exhibits a small amount of blue smoke from the exhaust if I start the car after I have previously only run the car for a few seconds, say to move it for cleaning.
On normal start up I have no smoke.
Has anybody else noticed this on their cars?

Thanks for your input.
After some research on this forum as well as AMOC and a couple of dealer techs it appears that the condition I describe above is normal for this car.
I.e. If the car is started from cold and run for a just very short period of time say to move outside garage to clean, it is likely to let out some exhaust smoke upon restart once the cleaning is complete.

Its probably because when you initially start the car, it is on full choke still when you turn it off. The second start is back on full choke again so will cause some smoke from the exhaust due to being over rich.
BMW's did it around 15 years ago so badly, that they would flood the engine needing the plugs out and cleaned before it would restart. Was a nightmare.
These were the last of the distributor ignition cars before the far more powerful ignition systems of individual coil on plug design.
