I'm not sure if anyone has seen / heard about this:-

What we have are 80 members from six BBC orchestras and Ulster orchestra recording a backing track for You Got The Love by The Source feat. Candi Staton.
They're asking for everyone who plays an instrument, or sings, to record themselves playing along to the backing track, upload it, and your footage could be included in a virtual performance to be broadcast on BBC TV & radio on 14th May. The link includes the backing track and sheet music.
I fancy a go at it, and have been messing around with stuff already.
The basic structure is Am / G / D with an occasional Dsus4 and a rogue Em7 in the intro. As such, there is plenty of scope to add flavours. Chord-wise (with my guitar head on) I'm already thinking "cowboy" Am, G in the first inversion, then D in the second inversion so you have (in the bass notes) A / D / F#. So all diatonically fitting with the key of Am. Am7 also seems to work for the i chord.
There is an 8 bar section for a solo, and the chords (i / bVII / IV) suggest A Dorian works a treat.
Anyone else going to have a bash??
