It's been flying around for ages but not touching down. Does anybody know anything? It's impressive.

Taking advantage of quiet airspace.

Doing touch & go’s all over the UK at the moment.

A400’s doing the same.

Yes, that's what I thought. It was doing approaches but not touch downs. One landed and took off a few weeks ago, early morning. That woke me up, lol.

Gotcha. They used to be in and out of Exeter airport all the time doing touch and gos by the sound of it.

I was outside and failed to see it. Mind you i did see its departure mid afternoon. There was a chinook playing last friday as well.

Civilian and military ATC work differently for one so some interaction is high on the agenda. Stops them getting too used to flying in/out of the same place?
