Think I've got them , 7 looks like a mk3 Cortina , behind that is a Renault 16 as mentioned , distinctive roof lines .

The Vauxhall is just an ordinary Victor not a VX4/90.

That reminds me of holiday trips to Cornwall in the 70's, driving down the A30 and coming over the top of a hill to be greeted by miles of queuing traffic and a handful of over heating cars with their bonnets up. And probably a VW campervan on fire.

Why has one list got 13 and the others 15 vehicles?

There's something odd about the Viesse at the back. It appears to be LHD unless the driver was picking something off the floor at the precise moment.

I took the Vitesse to be a convertible with the hard top fitted.

ETA. The BMW driver appears to be leaning right to look for an overtake.

15 is a rover P4, not 5, I think

Fairly certain that #8 is actually a Renault 16. The "pagoda" roof style gives it away. #3 is definitely an Austin cambridge; the Morris Oxford had a barred grille. #12 could also be a Mk 2 Herald 13/60. #4 is I am sure a Ventora due to the headlamp configuration. The last looks like a P5 Rover.

The Triumph towards the end is a Vitesse as it has 4 headlights.

I think the last one in the queue could be a Humber Hawk rather than a Rover.

Number 4 isnt a Ventora its a Victor.
