Massive loss. They were so influential In populating electronic music. Only saw them live once, but listened to the music for many, many hours over the years. RIP.

I love the stories about how if you wanted to speak to him, you rang a phone at exactly an allotted time, and he would answer, 15 seconds either way and tough luck.

That and how he and Ralph would ride to the next gig as they were so obsessed with cycling.

A true genius. Electronic music would not be what it is without him.

Tour de France is still my favourite rowing album, I’d always hoped to see them live but missed a couple of opportunities as tickets sold out in seconds.
