Go has a bigger screen and m3 processor option. Book has 10th gen Core processors and a quadro graphics option.

Home, Pro, Enterprise. Just a code to change it, it's all the same codebase.

Oh, OK, if I buy this I could call MS and they will give me a code to upgrade to Pro or Enterprise free of charge?

Well yeah of course I can, that's obvious and that's not the point. They are selling it as a "Pro" machine.

Were you equally annoyed when Mercedes sold the AMG C63 Black in silver?

You need to rethink that statement.

What do you need from Pro that isn't in Home?

It was a question, not a comment, one you have failed to answer....

Alternatvely you could just answer the question. End of the day, it's only a laptop so install whatever you want. You already have the answer, either buy the business SKU or "upgrade" Home to Pro which is not free, something around the £100 mark if you do it from the Win 10 Store

Alternatively you can just stop being an apologist.

Let me flip it so that you (maybe) understand this situation better. Imagine this was a fullfat Mercedes AMG and they put 1 litre engine into it and capped it at 70mph (as that's the legal top speed, can you explain why you need a car to go faster than 70mph? ANSWER THE QUESTION NOW!) but they leave all the Halfords bits on it so that it looks like a fullfat Mercedes AMG, I should "just" either buy a fullerfat Mercedes AMG for more money or take it to a tuner who will upgrade it to what it should have been based on what it was sold as. After all it's just a car so do whatever you want with it.

Lol, the world's weirdest analogy.

If they sold it with pro you would be asking why am I paying for that?

It's like this, the machine is £x with a particular operating system thrown in. If you want to upgrade then you can.

So, why do you want to be able to join a domain, run hyper-v or choose to turn off auto updates? Come on?

Because it was always a machine aimed at pros?

Lol, so Windows 10 professional is for 'pros'?

Hahahaha

A pro can still install pro applications on Windows Home you know.

Having Windows pro didn't make it a pro machine.

I have no idea what you are trying to say there.
Hardware is what makes it a 'pro' machine not the difference between Home and Pro Windows.

You're on another level. rolleyes
