Taking off from Leeds Bradford Airport just now.
Two in the last 15 minutes
Shortish wings but massive body, 4 props.
Didn't look like Hercules.
Quite noisy.
Anyone know what they might have been/ been doing?
I'm guessing PPE. But only guessing.

A C17 was flying around EMA last night 2030 to 2100 ish and again this morning at 0400 onwards. Woke me up but have to say it's very quiet compared to older planes.

Just seen one 40 mins ago (horsforth) no idea what it’s doing, but I have seen the same plane pre lockdown doing the same. Always seem to do a very wide loop a couple of times.

I'm in Morley, at the very top of the hill. About 7 miles as the Crow flies/14 miles on the road from the Airport, So they are a bit smaller to me. I can see normal Aircraft parked/moving from my top window.

Lockheed Galaxy? Biggest plane I've seen.

Edit: Sorry, it's jet propelled, not turboprop...

We had one fly pretty low over our house yesterday - saw it twice, as it was heading up North to fly in circles, and then on the way back to Brize Norton.
