The grandkids have broken the charge to their toy car, this is a major problem.
I’ve lots of 12v power supplies around but not sure if these will charge?
Otherwise it’s options to repair or replace the old charger.
This is the old broken one.

Is it just the connector that has broken? Fairly simple repair to anyone who has a soldering iron - where are you?

all sorts of replacements on amazon, where you can just attach the appropriate head and select the power

Thanks, I don't think it will solder, its molded plastic, the connection is inside it, there are wired terminals available etc.
I know I can source replacements OK but I was thinking more what might I have to do the job.

It’s a 12V 1000mA charger. Your options are either buy a replacement that is 12V and at least 1000ma (1A) or cut off the broken jack plug and replace it with a new one that will require soldering the wires on to the new Jack. It’s a 2 min job if you have a soldering iron.
