iPhone issues

For the first time ever i have had an iPhone stop working!

It was fine 20 minutes ago, then i could not go back out of text, so tried to re-start, and it won't!

So now i can unlock it using code but not face id, and just get the 1st screen like this... Anyone seen it before or know a fix?

Yeah, it just does that little vibrate thing, then prompts me to unlock the phone thats it! It does not flash up the slider to power off.
