can anyone tell me exactly how Porsche achieved the extra power in the 3.4L engine gen 1 to gen 2 ? cayman 987s

Basically, it's a different engine. The gen 2 cars are DFI, and have a host of other changes.

cheers ,have researched now and can see what they have done .what would be the best way to increase the power by maybe 20-30hp ?
