Your exige spec?

Once again I find myself bored and on car configurators (I cant be the only one!) been looking at Exige cup 430 as I love it but in reality can’t afford one, but this is how I’d have it..



Red wheels maybe to much but then that’s what these cars are about! So how would others have theirs? Just a bit of lockdown fun really plus if any owners have one let’s have a look!

I may be mad, but I'd have the Sport 350 instead as it's less fussy, but with the sport pack for those sexy wheels. Maybe ask for yellow stripes as well. Would have to have AC and a radio too - that way you could use it anywhere, including touring.

I would also have silver accents and wing uprights. Interior would be tan with red harnesses.

Hi All. I've been thinking of Exiges for a while now and this thread has been a useful thread to get me realising the options available (at least within the limitations of the configurator). I'm in Switzerland and get different options depending on whether I go on the French or German language site, but some questions if I may:

1. The Sport Pack. Lighter wheels are always good, but how are the standard brakes? Presumably the two-piece items are more for track bashing?

2. How is the standard suspension relative to the Bilsteins? (I used to have a S1 111S with Nitrons and the adjustability was good to have.)

3. Are the carbon seats any different from the standard ones other than in construction material and weight? Presumably there's not much weight difference, but I do think they look sexy.

4. I'm looking at in-stock cars as prices have been slashed by a few dealers recently, and some are Roadsters. I've read that the Sport setting on the traction control is a bit intrusive, so preferable to have Race as an option which many Roadsters don't have. Is this a real issue?

Interesting that nearly all of the Exiges currently on sale here don't have the Sport Pack or carbon seats; I would have expected the opposite.
