Under the radar IMO.

They're not a GTA, and everyone wants a GTA.

The 3.2s look like a 1.9 diesel and that's the problem. But - there is no shortage of body parts, so they're cheaper to fix.

In terms of driving, they're as close to a 147 GTA as you can get, which is probably the best of all of them.

On the whole they've likely not been cherished like the GTAs have because the aura has not been built up around them. as mentioned before, there's little distinguishing the 3.2 from the tractor engined one, in visual terms anyway. A bit of a sleeper. I'd bet there'd be few out there without crushed outer sills because of dheads who can't apply a jack or lifter properly. That is an issue that'll occur with the GTAs but not as much because the plastic sideskirts on those act as a kind of deterrent while the 'seamless' metal sill protrusions on the GT look fair game for jacking on - when they're not! This spoils the look and exacerbates corrosion. Also I believe the outer sills are part of the rear quarter panel, not a distinct genuine part to buy on their own.

That one around 8k has been advertised for ages and, on paper, seems like it could be a good example, but it ain't shifting?

They are a good looking car. Slightly classier dashboard than the 147 too.

Check MOT history online!
I've seen many older Alfas being advertised without any indication of their condition underneath, yet when you look online you see a past history of 'seatbelt anchoring point' (for example) fails and advisories.
I fancied one of these but thinking an Aussie or Saffer import might be in order!
