Vantage V8 window issue solved after a flat battery.
Discussion
Thought this might be handy for any one who suffers window issues after a flat battery on Vantage V8 Roadster, or any other Vantage model.
My battery went flat as I haven’t used the car for a couple of months due to the lockdown, I’m sure other may find themselves in the same boat.
When I charged the battery back up, all the buttons on the doors weren’t working ( mirror adjustment and the electric windows) nor would the car lock using the fob.
Disconnecting the earth on the battery for 5 minutes and replacing it seems to do some sort of hard reset and it all working again, after searching online and reading what some people were suggesting I was concerned I was in for a big bill..... so I thought this might be of interest to other in the same boat.
The battery is located behind the drivers seat.
