Ive got a cheap OBD reader, is there any advantage in getting a better one? Anything Mercedes specific. I cant afford STAR but is there anything cheaper out there or recommendations?
Have a look at the iCarsoft diagnostic tools, they do specific Mercedes variants. I bought one for our SLK and it's very good for the money, far more advanced than the cheap code readers.
