Anyone repairing Omega’s right now?
Discussion
My girlfriend has a quartz seamaster but the helium escape valve (I assume this is what it is...at 10 o’clock) has come off and been lost.
It had come off a few time’s and she had screwed it back on. The watch is still working and doesn’t appear to have any issues. It’s her birthday soon and one of the things on her list is to get the watch fixed. It’s one of the smaller men’s watches and is a few years old.
Anyway - just wondering if anyone knows a decent watch repairer who is still working at present. I’d rather not send to omega themselves. Thanks.

Try Duncan Potter at Genesis:

Swiss Time Services would usually be another option but it seems they aren't working at the moment:

as a non-essential service, none of the workshops are currently open.
On 1st of June its possible that a few of the larger service centres will be allowed to go back to work and then gradually the smaller places will likely be abe to get back.
I have been trying to work from home, but without the luxury of the workshop it is very difficult to do a good enough job.
The issues that you have with the watch are completely usual for that type of watch and could be fixed relatively cheaply.
I don't know where in the UK you are, but Swiss Time Services are always my no1 recommendation for Omega.
Joe at Variomatic is also extremely skilled and has a large following on here.
if you wish for any advice I would be happy to help, just mail me.

TWR are now open for business according to their Facebook post yesterday, amongst others they're Omega authorised
I'm yet to use them however they were very helpful when I had a few queries via email about another brand some weeks back.
