Overhaulin' - New series (S10) Monday 25 May 2020 Discovery 22.00

Replacing Iron Resurrection.

I didn't realise Motor Trend had revived it.

It's Chip, Chris & AJ hosting. I don't think the show would even try to go ahead without Chip Foose as he is the draw really. The other two make a really good team too. Not only are the cars great it's a real feel good show.

I still remember Chip putting 'AJ Designs' number plates on 'her' car was a nice touch and obviously very unexpected based on her reaction. and Chip's reaction to getting his own truck overhauled showed how humble a guy he is.

Just watched the Daytona Coupe episode.

New series feels a bit budget compared to the older episodes?

The car was absolutely lovely before it was done, and imo I think they spoiled it. frown

Watched last week’s which was the F150 Lightning, seemed a bit Overhaulin ‘lite’, a repaint and a big crate motor with some minor details.

The continuity was also pretty bad, they showed the same clip of the guy machining the wheels three times!

Cannot take to this, don’t know why they all seem so bloody plastic and false and always fast forward to the last five mins

I used to like Overhaulin many moons ago but not struck by the latest version. Iron Resurrection on the other hand is one of my favourite shows. Joe Martin is such a likeable bloke and his wife yum . Shame Shorty is not in it now, he was ace.

Heads up.

In case you haven't noticed, it's been switched from Discovery to Discovery Turbo.
