Buying a 944 - how to value

Hi all,

1st time on here so bear with me......

I'm thinking of buying an 1983 Porsche 944 2.5 Lux (oval dash) but don't really know how to value it (to see if I'm getting a decent deal)

177K with FSH...paintwork and interior in excellent condition and completely original.

It's only one result so not necessarily representative, but 2.5 Lux with 171k sold in March for £3,456

Fundamental things to look are are belts (balance & Cam) these have a 4 year 45K mile life. Together with water pump, idlers & tensioners. Hugely variable dependent on how bad it is. If left standing then expect most of it to need replacing. The idlers for instance are £40 each.
Clutch condition, a new one is 8-10 hours labour + £250-£500 for a clutch plus slide, potentially a new fork & flywheel skim.
Body condition is sills & rear suspension mounts, all rot prone & need checking.
Expect to do a suspension refresh at least bushes, bottom balljoints on the front are a pain.
