I read that porsche confirmed they are not making new hyper car for few years. This looks like old one and think was linked to prototyping a track version of that old 918 or something.

Ah so thats the still born 917. Porsche filed a few patents in relation to it though I believe. Looks amazing to me.

I looked at the latest 917 evolution at the factory,stunning,you can deff see that car in the render.
Mclaren have been buying porsche for years for varying study projects,the word is it will be ev.

Wouldn't it be great if they did a nasp air-cooled flat 8 or 12 hypercar? A swansong for the ICE and a wonderful nod to Porsche history. Unfortunately we all know it won't happen. With a 15.5% stake in Rimac and the corporate push to electric it's entirely logical for the next Porsche halo product to also be electric.

Best thing they could do would be to re-use the V8 from 918, without the hybrid.
People don’t realise what an engine that was. Custom built and super lightweight to make up for batteries. Best V8 every built?

Unfortunately, it’s never going to happen!
