Why not Bottas? Makes the most sense.

Bottas is a clear number 2 to someone who is at the top and will probably retire soon.

If Bottas moved to the red team, he will be an even clearer number two to someone who has 15 years ahead of him.

Unless Ferrari were going to offer him a 3+ year deal I can't see the rewards being worth the risks for Bottas.

For someone like Ricciardo/Sainz/etc it's the chance to swap from a team who, for the next couple of years at least, will at best get on the podium in the odd race and be fighting for fourth spot in the constructors table, to one that will be fighting over which step they get on the podium in every race and the top three spots in the constructors championship.

For Bottas you'd be jumping from one team that's fighting for the top step to the other team that's fighting for the top step and, well, assuming he's happy at Mercedes it's better the devil you know.

Eddie is often correct, but not with this certainly now Danny is announced.

EJ was never going to be right with this, Ferrari do not want a repeat of last year with 2 'number 1s'. Lewis does not want a team that has poor organisational and management skills, why would he?

EJ's stunning insights consist of some nosey mechanic telling another mechanic something he overhead and then once EJ gets wind of it he blabs it all out in public as he is desperate for the £500 bbc money on top of his millions.
