Speeding 90 in a 70

Thank you for your contribution. I tend to be careful what I 'google'. Anything medical, and legal, there's so much rubbish out there. I thought, come here, ask a simple question, and hopefully not get abused over it. Like I said, thank you for your contribution.

This seems 'fair' if tha'ts the right word. The notification said 'automatic fixed camera' but in the place stipulated, I wasn't aware that there was a camera there and I've been using that section/junction for years.

You will not be banned for the speeding but there is an automatic ten year ban for using the term "license". Harsh, but fair.

But that is not as bad as calling the things that stop your car breaks - in my eyes that deserves the death penalty.

Given the unprecedented times, that Fearless Foe that is Covid-19, I think the cost of the bullet could be met by the public purse.

It's the least we can do when given the balance of probabilities it was Covid-19 that killed him and not the bullet.

Agreed. Google is not your friend here. Google will suggest penalty points and an income based fine.

90/70 is too fast for a course but within the threshold for a £100 fixed penalty with 3 points. Anyone who suggests otherwise is an idiot and I don’t care if they have a link to a st website to support their ignorance.

What if the driver was at the time:

- understeering in a PCP Audi on run-flat tyres,
- breaking lockdown rules,
- texting LLF about Flemke's McLaren,
- wearing a Casio watch,
- on the way to a wedding in Yorkshire,
- had no Birds custard in the car,
- [insert other staples here]

BUT was also a nurse.
