Best back-catalogue for an actor/ess

as it says which actor/ess has the best body of work? I suspect that that is to say the fewest duds rather than has won the most awards?

I know that there'll be a lot of people rooting for De Niro - but he has made some absolute stinkers that even Michael Caine might have had second thoughts about!

So go on then - let's see who you've got in mind....

I'm going to say Tom Hanks,

He's rarely made Bad films, he's made some very very good ones and even when it's below his best he's always watchable in it. Even if he tends to play middle of the road, safe characters.

2nd Denzel Washington.

I'd go with Leo as well, from Basketball diaries to now I can't think of anything terrible he's done although I've not seen them all.

Tom Cruise - there is some dross, but there's plenty of quality (and lots of films featuring cars, bikes, planes & girls).

First thought was Leo, however when thinking about it, Samuel L Jackson may just take it.

Granted he has been in a few crap movies but they have been crap in a good way for the most part (XXX for example).

Johnny Depp is also up there.
