A chap who works for me has been left one of these by his late father.

I had to Google it and it appears to be a big cruiser type of thing. Not my cup of tea, but I imagine someone likes them.

Is there much of a market for them?

A ridiculous thing, but I reckon they're kinda off the wall cool. Basically the Gold Wing 1500/6 in cruiser form. Look better in solid dark colours than the commonly seen red and white scheme I think.

This:

as opposed to this:

I'd love a go on one.Shame it's not a Rune. They're EPIC!

It's basically a Gold Wing that has been "Harlyfied" if you look in classifieds there are a few but dont plan on retiring on the proceeds

The chap who works for me is German, 6' 8" and an ex MMA fighter. If his father was responsible for his size, I can understand why he would have chosen something like that.

He is going to send me some photos later.

Not my thing, but I remember hearing one with open pipes, being started at Brands.

What a sound!

The whole thing is hideous. I would rather walk than ride it.

Interestingly it's still on German plates and has done 51000 miles. Perhaps his Dad lived in Nottingham but worked in Berlin.

If I had space for a collection of vehicles, I would quite fancy that. The big question is.. does it have a reverse gear?

I'd rather ride any bike than walk.

Agree on the comment about the sound above. I'd happily own one if it was cheap enough and wasn't the only bike in my garage though, having saying that it wouldn't look like the German one posted OP. Definitely needs some changes!

Is it finding it's way into your garage OP?

Not unless I become irredeemably bonkers anytime soon.

I don't know why, but I have happily owned many Jap road, trail and MX bikes. But when it comes to big cruisers and "customs" they just seem like fake Harleys.

He seems to feel it's worth £5k. Which sounds like £4995.00 more than it looks. I have pointed him towards Gumtree.

Rode one in Borneo, belonged to a friend, fantastic on A roads, only reason I didn't buy it was servicing problems there

He'll get that by the look of the market...if he gets it registered.
