Can a somebody that knows their stuff explain the difference between these seemingly identical brake pads? I have googled what WVA is but I don’t understand what it actually means.

If you download the pdf datasheets for both there's a good image of each of the pads on it - the retaining clips on the back are slightly different.

Whether that would matter or not I'm not sure, but that seems to be all I can see.

Yes that i think is the only difference. Both sets have a matching WVA number which i think from doing some more googling on it is an industry standard number. So the fact both sets have one of the 2 numbers matching means they're the same. According to pagid the WVA thats on both sets superseded one of the other WVA number, the spring fingers are slightly different but are compatible. I know what i'm typing is probably uncomprehendable but i sort of know what i mean laugh

Basically, ECP Are charging, before discounts, £82 for one set and £113 for the other! The only difference is the fingers on the springs are slightly different but still compatible! Not just ECP, all brembo sellers charge quite a bit more for one set over the other.
Glad they sent me the cheaper set despite Brembo themselves saying they're not correct.
Having said that, if if feel something isn't right when fitting them i won't continue. They have got feel and look 100% correct.
