I've been looking at several attachments that clip onto the existing controller which gives you extra buttons or paddles and allows things like rapid fire etc, has anyone tried these/ use these and if so which one ? Ta

Just buy a Scuf or X-Box Pro Controller.

Mine has given up the ghost this week after a LOT of use, I’ll be getting a pro or Scuf to replace it!

Ah very interesting, do you mean the pro fusion controller , just had a look , looks very promising , doesn't say if you map all the buttons, for rapid fire, drop shot etc

You can map on the X-Box elite. I wouldn’t worry about getting banned, the people I play against on PUBG for 12-18months who blatantly cheat (and COD), have never been banned, same names / same cheats

Don’t map things to give yourself an advantage over the game mechanics, map the buttons to be of better use.

I'd avoid Scuf. The build quality on them is absolutely woeful. Plenty of horror stories online.
I ordered one for PS4 2 years ago. It arrived faulty, dirty and covered in greasy fingerprints, it took 4 returns for me to get a useable controller after numerous issues (sticking thumbsticks, stiff triggers, poor bluetooth connectivity, d-pad not working).

Their customer service was terrible, they'll argue the toss to try and get out of honouring any sort of warranty and accuse you of breaking it.
Cost a small fortune too, mine had all the bells and whistles and came close to £230. An expensive lesson.

Looking into these controllers , they don't seem to have the option to program different functions , like rapid fire , ads and fire etc, just remapping the buttons ?

Elite Controller is what you want. When you say rapid fire, surely you just hold the trigger down?? Which game(s) is this for?

You can shorten the triggers on the Pro and assign functions from the extra buttons on the underside to do stuff. So you are quicker to shoot and can adjust programmatically to suit. Not sure about getting it to do functions that aren't necessarily in the actual game though...

Yeah what he is asking for is a controller that allows you to cheat as opposed to assist gameplay.

Don’t cheat.
