What aren't you doing this weekend?
Discussion
And it is starting to really get you down?
For me it's a trip out, ice cream or fish and chips and then a sit down curry in the evening.
Or just going to the pub for an hour or two.
I suppose a follow up question would be what are you doing that you're fed up doing?
That's reading books and watching box sets. It would be very easy to become alcohol dependent if I was that way inclined.

Really missing being in the pub for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon, people-watching and relaxing.
Also, two months of not eating-out. My wife's a great cook, don't get me wrong, but that freedom of just nipping out for something different is what I miss.
First world problems and all that.

Not very original and I imagine will be a common consensus, pub!
Usually I would be in the pub on a Fri night just for a couple, then if it was a home game I'd be at the pub before and after the game on Sat, then probably Sun lunch with girlfriend and/or mates with a few beers to sort out the head from the night before.
So yes mostly missing the pub and seeing my mates. Video parties are ok but just not the same.
Instead the garden and house are looking great
but today will be a chilled day as I finished decorating kitchen yesterday so deserve a weekend of rest before I start on exterior decorating.

Sunday was tennis at a really nice, down-to-earth club that I'd just found at the end of last year.
Guess I won't be going there for a while!
I was chatting to my dad yesterday who plays tennis as well, he'd heard that tennis clubs may be reopening soon with some strange rule changes around serving and having to mark your balls (tennis) so you only handle your own. Not sure how likely this is and I think probably applies to those where you don't have to go inside to access courts? Guess I won't be going there for a while!

Going for a drive in my Riley to a country house, Cadwell Park or other favourite place of interest with my camera. Coming home and reviewing what I've shot and (hopefully) figuring what I ought to have done differently to get better results.Tyre Smoke said:

.Instead I've been taking photo after photo of birds at the feeder in my garden. One great tit looks much like any other.
I can't go to shoot at targets with a rifle. I moved house around Christmas
and quickly joined the local club. Aftere a few sessions, I'd 'adopted' a club
BSA Martini International and was all prepared to fit my big Hawke scope
to it...and the virus struck.
Manwhile, my PCP rifle is poorly and I've been too busy to shoot it
outdoors anyway. Bah.

I'm thinking about setting up a 15m range diagonally across my back garden, middle of a housing estate so I doubt it will sit well with neighbours or the copper who lives opposite but hey, PCP with a moderator, might get away with it.and quickly joined the local club. We should be out doing our main street collection for the RNLI today
Just today alone we will miss out on raising at least £1500.00 in the buckets and it makes me so down.
One of the unseen consequences of the lockdown and social distancing is charities away from the NHS are losing huge amounts of funding through the public.
The Lifeboats are doing no afloat training at the moment to save funds but the last weekend and especially today have been very busy launching to help people who can't wait just a while longer to get in trouble....
Nothing helps raise funds like the buckets as well as being able to engage with the public about what we do and help with safety advice, it reaks my heart that I can't be out there for them at the moment.
Hopefully soon eh?
