Just had several Ferrari’s, a Cobra, a few Porsche’s all thrashing through my village.
Clearly all together in a run out...

Lovely roads around here, but absolutely full of families out walking and cycling.

Car 'cruising' was banned round here years ago (West Mids) because of several serious incidents. This was pre covid19 although I've seen a few today who are obviously following each other....

It was quite clever, the court ruling meant that instead of a motoring offence it became contempt of court. So carried a prison sentence.

Since last Wednesday there is no limit, in England, on the distance than can be driven for exercise. It looks like Plod is making the law up again

Could fall under outdoor recreation. No need to be 'exercise' any more.

Either way, since there's no limit to the distance you can drive for recreation, even if the driving itself doesn't count, all you need to do if asked is say you're on your way to spend time outdoors.

There are no limits (in England) how far you can travel for exercise or to spend time outside. “Gatherings” still aren’t allowed, but frankly, people saying x, y or z is “closed” boils my piss (and I say that as a BiB). If that was what the government wanted, that’s what the law should say.

We (cops) sometimes really don’t do ourselves any favours.
