Help needed - what to buy my father in law for his birthday?

He is in his seventies.

Not interested in:

Clothes

Hobbies



Likes:

Walking his Labrador

Sitting in the garden

Whiskey (we've bought him gallons of it)

Watching sport esp rugby and cricket.

Drinking wine (we've bought him gallons of it)

Good food.

We've bought him everything we can think of over the years. Wine bucket, decent cork screw, whiskey, wine, food, shirts, cufflinks, multi-tool.

We've got 2 weeks. Any inspiration greatly appreciated!

Well I'm sure the Scottish whisky industry would love it be that simple,
but the dictionary gives both spellings as the same definition:

whiskey or whisky [ hwis-kee, wis- ]

Personally I dislike foody / drinky gifts. But I get it that others don't feel the same.

Glenmorangie is a nice, easy to drink whisky. So any of the English non pleated whiskies will be OK.

I got one for my brother in law and he was happy.
