"Having read some of your comments within the forums, and realising how passionate you all are about what I was selling on eBay, I would like to publicly apologise for my actions. I do not normally go around 'stealing' information from others' websites, however, I genuinely believed there was not a problem in what I was doing... I have now realised otherwise and will be taking more care in what I offer for sale in the future. I am not the scum of the earth that some of you think I am, I am a genuine, hard working family man trying to earn a crust but this time I cocked up a bit... Once again, I apologise for my actions"

So this bloke now understands that selling his Granny might have been a better idea. Nice though to see a man who can admit to being wrong. Fair play to you mate. I dont think you will be guest of honour at BBWF but at least you aint got a tribe of very angry Wedgers after you anymore.Maybe you could try selling something less controversial like Live aid tickets or your internal organs.

Credit where credit is due, we all make mistakes (So my wife keeps telling me) and it takes some real guts to admit one was wrong and to apologise publicly.

As noted a rare thing nowadays.

IMHO if it was down to me I would accept the apology gracefully.

I didn't post on the previous thread because I actually thought it was a bit of a line call (ducks for cover) - but the info was in the public domain with no copyright and it was really only a bit of entrepreneurism in an Arfur Daley, Trotters type way.

There is plenty of other free stuff available on Ebay - even TVR stuff such as give away dealer brochures and cards. The replacement wedge logbooks you buy through the TVRCC are just photocopies !

However, in deference to the person who collated the epistles and to Mike B he should have asked first so fair play - at least he has done the right thing now.
