Lease replacement for Golf R

Hi all,

The lease is up in July for my Golf R and I’m looking for something to tide me over until the new R (hopefully plus version) is released which I will then pass over to the missus.

Any suggestions?

Budget? Does it need to be a warm/hot hatch?

No more than £350 a month as it’d be a shorter lease. Warm hatch would just fine.

What have you looked at so far?

Test drove the a35 which isn’t close to the R, especially what they’ll do with the new one so not worth the money. Quite like the i30N.
