I'm looking for suggestions for a good small motorway car. My wife has just moved jobs, so travels for 40mins on the motorway, followed by town centre parking. So ideally she wants a small car that's capable on the motorway. She currently shares the use of daughters 1 litre C1. If we upgrade this or add to the fleet will decided upon insurance on the new vehicle.

I await your suggestions. smile

My old man's Suzuki Swift 1.0 Boosterjet is pretty decent on the motorway. 110bhp and lighter than bag of spuds means it feels pretty nippy.

And in SZ5 trim it's absolutely loaded with kit; adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, autonomous braking, nav, climate etc.

Good little car smile

Just buy some sort of Golf or Passat Diesel.

Or a Lexus IS250.

I use my daughters VW Up occasionally.

It's ok on the motorway if you're not in any hurry.
