Hi Dave,
Just1 will be about soon. I am sorry to hear about your rad problem. I wouldnt call us an official lotus club but there is 4 or 5 of us that meet regularly and go for drives or to race meets etc, generally fount in the furthest pub possible, chatting. They are a really great bunch and we have some good runs.
Meets have been a little thin on the ground for me as my car is unwell but in a week(ish) I will be dragging everyone out!
Just1 and I will be meeting up on Saturday night, hopefully Twinpipe will join...

Where are you based? What car do you have?

I need a RUN NOW ! ! !...... 3 weeks of driving american hire cars, and the only reason I wanted to come home was to get behind the wheel of the Elise.

Had a week of being home and driving the Liz to and from work, but it ain the same as blasting it over the Purbecks.

Guys, I couldnt get tickets! I had to go visit a possible client, business before pleasure, Sorry. I know that there always a load sold on the door we can try that, or there is plenty of other places....

If we are eating then meet at about 7.30 in the Slug. I could do with a good curry or a good chinese. Any preference on food, The way Just1 and I are built, no preference just a hell of a lot! We will get a popadom for beachbum, double his weight!!!

Dave, your car has the black and grey interior, same wheels as Just1's? She is a beauty, --03 HHB? She is in my cars old parking place watching my car being de constructed into her components. On monday when you pick her up, my car is one in about a million pieces, electric blue 111R with white stripes. The front and back are in different places and the engine is all around!!!

Twinpipe cant dance, I cant drink, Just1 is too smooth for his own good.

Good beer, great curry. Jazz juice started slow and built into a great party. We danced our tits off and drank far too much. We talked cars, girls, and bloke talk and had a damn good time. This lotus club is bloody good off road!!

Big stories and double shots...

Hen partys were fun. I think we must have found about 5 of them.

Don't forget - Sunday 3rd July - 8pm at the Sandacres pub on the Sandbanks peninsula road - run anticlockwise around the harbour back to the pub.

Details in the events section on SELOC.

Be there!

Guess I'll have to wait for the juicy details when we have our next local meet.
So when is that going to be. How about an early Sunday start. 09:00 at the Pavillion, then onto Sandbanks for a quick coffee/breakfast, then a nice looooooong blast out to Lyme Regis and further on if time allows.

Reckon ???

Definately up for the SELOC run.

Next weekend is a problem for me to go any distance from home as on call, but a local run looping round Poole & Bmth would be great.

You know me, any run, any time, any where. The run ashore, AKA the off road activities left me a little unwell and unable to deal with too much bright light on sunday.
I just went and saw my car, it is so light that it can be carried 'round! I made a joke about taking it to the FOS on friday and no one laughed!

She is in Westovers. They have been brilliant. Becky and Domonic have really been stars and the guys at the oily end of the business are first rate. It is a very long story, when I get her back, I will tell all.

mine will be joining yours there after someone reversed into the back of my elise tonight

The other car has put a large split along the back above the number plate, and then drove off, lucky for me a passer by saw the whole thing and got the cars number, then waited for me to return and passed the other cars reg onto me, and has offered to be a witness. I have alredy spoke to the police and they are treating it as a faliure to stop, unless the driver pitches up and reports it in the next 24hrs. I cant belive that first someone can hit another car and not realize, and also when you do you have not got the guts to stick around to fess up and take the blame. The police cannot tell me the details of the other driver but have said the registration matches the make/ model/colour of the other car, and i will make damm sure they prosicute them.

I have to go to the police in the morning to formally report it then I am off to westovers to get an idea of the best place/ way of repairing the damage, i think it will only need a repair but my main concern is that it is repaired and sprayed back to its original condition, those that know the car know the standard of repair i am looking for.

I am going to the dealer first can anyone suggest the best place in the south (money no object as i will be on the other cars insurance) to get it seen to.

Stay safe

A very not amused

Lucky to get a witness like that.

Awful when someone hits and then runs like that. I hope you take them to the cleaners.

Just1 - People seem to rave "Fibreglass Services" in Arundel.
Saw the the crack, it dont look good, it will look worse in a couple of days too, once the crazing starts to show more.

The good nes it that Louts have agreed to respray the nose of my car. I'll start a new thread to explain more as I think most people will want to hear some of the info.

Again, Sorry to hear about your car, at least you got the Sod ! ! !
