what hose for fluid resevoirs?
Discussion
morning all,
i've fitted new rearsets which means the hose to the reservoir is too short. very few local suppliers so not many options.
i was wondering what hose types will resist the fluid. given it's not a pressure line, that's all it needs to do right? would silicone hose be ok? the routing for the rear calls for a very flexible hose.

Not sure about silicon, but there's usually specific formulations of rubber hose for brake fluid: https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/7mm-cohline-b...

That or look for taycan on ebay - they are super dooper hose people.
You mean Tygon? I had that previously and found it a bit crap to be honest... I definitely made sure I had the correct type (identified by a 3-digit code) but because it doesn't compress in the same way as a rubber hose, I found it always seemed to weep around the connector...Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
