718 Spyder PDK

Has anyone heard anything recently about availability of PDK on 718 Spyder. I have a deposit down on one in UK and geting a bit edgy now about delivery before 31 December 2020 in order to avoid potential 10% import surcharge following Brexit .

Not heard anything, but there were mules on the Nordschleife a couple of weeks ago along with GTS 4.0s with PDK. So they're on the cards and coming, but no indication yet of when. I assume the WLTP testing queue has been affected by COVID-19 and so delays are inevitable.

The latest info earlier this year suggested it would be able for builds from September(?) so add in a two month delay due to shutdowns and delivery of a PDK car in 2020 becomes unlikely unless Porsche were artificially holding back PDK production for some reason.

Thanks - yes that is my fear - the Spyder seems to be drifting away from me sadly as I have no intention of coughing up a 10% import surcharge. Still, much worse things happening in the world!
