If you run his GT4 lap alongside the GT3 Touring’s, both with manual gearboxes, you can see the relative strengths. GT4 more nimble and GT3’s earlier power on exit and outright grunt.

The Panamera video is quite good also.

Agreed...I was interested because I ran my ST Turbo at the Nordschleife and Spa last year....and not was much, much better than I expected. Obviously not a GT car, bur scary quick jus the same. Main problem was the tires got very hot as did the brakes.

The progress in terms of lap times from generation is amazing. I was very surprised when the 991.1 carrera S bested the 997 turbo around the Nordschleife. No 4wd, no turbos, just chassis improvements and a bit less weight.

7.24 for a Carrera GTS is particularly impressive. It really is a bit of a USP for the brand that you drop your kids at School with it and then pop to track and put in a couple of decent lap times.

On a different note, the pace of the Alfa Giulia Quattrofolio is mighty impressive for a family shopping car!!
