Is wheel alignment altered by rebalancing wheels?

Just researching an alignment check on my Cayman.

Does anyone know whether having a tyre rebalanced will impact the car alignment (hunter rig)?

Just wondering if I have the alignment done now and then get my wheels refurbed in 6-12 months they will obv need rebalancing when they re-fit the tyres and whether it will mean I need another alignment check / correction?

Wheel balancing will have no effect on wheel alignment, you should be ok after the wheel refurb, unless you are due an alignment by then anyway!

How would sticking small weights on the inside of the wheel rim affect suspension geometry?
