iPhone, Airplay, still not hi res with Qobuz etc?

Using the Qobuz app on my iPhone to stream to a Yamaha WXC-50, will that be limited to CD quality? The MusicCast app is a bit pants on my iPhone, although this obviously gives the sample rate and resolution indicated by the app.

I thought I’d read that the iOS was updated last year to allow hi res in Airplay, but can’t find anything about it with searches now.
