z4 e85 2.2l: any indie near London you'd recommend?
Discussion
Hello
I already browsed the very useful "Independent BMW Specialists" sticked thread. Quite interesting
I would like to ask anyway if you'd have a special recommendation for a 2004 Z4 2.2L precisely. It has many small and various issues ( for example the electric hood among other things), and I would like to drop the car to an indie who is especially familiar with the 1st gen Z4 for him to fix everything in one go. Does any indie come to mind?
thank you
Ben

If Hook in Hampshire would be do-able for you I'd definitely recommend Ross at RBM Hampshire:- https://www.rbmhampshire.co.uk/I already browsed the very useful "Independent BMW Specialists" sticked thread. Quite interesting

He has been reviving seemingly dead roof motors and relocating them into the boot for z4forum members for years, and after 15 years at Sytner he finally set up on his own late last year. The other roof motor gurus on that forum are in Bristol, Cheshire and Durham so it might be worth the trip!
I've had a few jobs on my Z4M Coupe done there, the last being an Inspection 2, and been very pleased with the work he has done and reasonable prices.
