First of all, please excuse my total ignorance in my questions.

Aim.... To achieve a monthly income, without reducing my initial investment too much.

In a months time I will have sold most of my assets in the UK with the plan to retire early to the far east.

Capital to invest £500 to 600K

I'd like to achieve a minimum 5% on this giving me £2K to live on.

As I'll be living overseas I'm not sure that I'll be liable for a tax on the income?

Any suggestions as to where I should invest or who I should ask for advice?

Again, excuse my ignorance.

Is now a good time to be selling UK assets?

I am sure somebody will want some tax off you somewhere! - and it may not all be income but dividends and capital gains.

Is there a pension in the mix?

House was sold but yet to exchange pre covid19 and my pension has not been taken into consideration with the sums involved.

You need financial planning and international tax advice.

The investment solution, (or perhaps simple model portfolios via Intelligent Money) are just one small part of the picture.
