I have a lockdown question --- hair exceptions.

In most places there is still a lockdown on hairdressers and barbers, at least where I live in Toronto. People have been fined for opening without authorization..social distancing etc. I currently sport a hair style that could be described as mature street dweller.

Fair enough.

However every politician seems to be able to retain short hair ( or same hairstyle in the case of female politicians) ..

Are they all married to or cohabiting with hairdressers, or skilled self barbers????

Good spot! They do appear more appropriately coiffured than most.

My OH is mobile hairdresser. She has clients close to bribing her to turn up in the middle of the night to do their hair!

Mrs Underwhelmist gave me and #1 son a haircut the other day, I reckon she did a better job than our usual barber. I’m now plotting how I can spend the cash we’re going to save.

Not sure about Boris’s hair, but it looks like he probably has a go with garden shears every now and then.

So is mine. The local council wrote to her and told her she would be prosecuted if she cut anyone’s hair.
So that’s that really.

Me too. The #2 on my clippers seems much more severe than at the Turkish.

I let the wife cut mine about 3 weeks ago. She does a good job however out of lockdown boredom I let her dye it for a giggle. I’m not laughing. Apparently I now have the look of a homosexual serial killer from a James Bond movie, my 12 yr old son is calling me Mr Whippy head.

My missus cuts her own hair and has done for years. I had also cut my own hair with chiropractor 25 years or so. But due to restrictions I decided I could not properly "distance" from myself and have not cut my hair since lockdown started. My hair is still only 1/2 an inch long. I guess my hair grows quite slowly. I am going for the "elderly street dweller look" but it may take some time to achieve.

Judas hair grows at a ridiculous rate. The offcuts looked like a giant rat.
