Broadband / Tv Etc

[Kev_Mk3]

Apologies if its in the wrong section but we seem to have a completion date for our new home so its time to look at all the lovely services we will need.

We currently get Virgin Fibre 200mb broadband but it's not in the area of the new house so need to look elsewhere. (I've been with them for 8 years and never used anyone else so this is all new to me)

The better internet providers are BT & Sky.

Both packages are basically similar

BT -

Entertainment package / boxsets (think they go via now tv)
Wifi Extenders (not sure ill actually need these)
landline (no inclusive calls)
Fibre 1 42-50mbs

6 months £42.99 then goes to £47.99
(found it for £33.99 then goes to £38.99 online)

Apparently no set up costs or anything.

Sky -

Signature package with boxsets free
Enhanced Netflix £4 a month
HD services
Speeds of 48-68mbs

Install of £10

£49 a month or if I add multi room £63 a month.

To me the BT deal is better but has anyone used them for their services? Also will I notice the difference in speeds?

The house has Sky in it currently so its just a line take over and no issues so unsure where to go now.

Any help would be great
