For ponces (not bonces), rich folk, and people with really vain ego's that think its big and clever to have a personalised plate on their car!

My bid is coming!

:blatant plug: If you want something slightly different I put up RUL6R (RULER) in the classifieds (for the King (or queen) of the Road). No a sniff yet, but I could be open to offers :end blatant plug:

I never considered you being rich!

imelda, does that annoy you that someone has had the cheek to copy your very clever numberplate?

To be honest I've never been bothered about personal plates. This one was on the car when we bought it. The vendor didn't want to split the plate and the car, and seeing as the car was a good price without the plate, we didn't argue too much.

And I'm not rich (enough), or a ponce, most certainly not a Bonce, haven't got an ego, not vain, not big and definately not clever. Apart from that, your descrption of the stereotypical personal plate owner was spot on.

If that is the case, then keep an eye on the auction and see how much the plate goes for. If it is a worthwhile amount then you could transfer R4CER onto a retention certificate and sell it for a similar or greater amount

Edit: I wonder if RAC3R exists too?

That was the original plan, but in my world, plans and actions are two entirely seperate concepts.

The original owner paid £5K at auction for it allegedly.

RAC3R does exist and is available at about £4K from a dealer if memory serves, as is R44CER.

Edit: Now if I could find MAN71S, I would be interested...

Well, if you do fancy selling it - I'll make you an offer. At least I 'am' a racer

Pigme - Don't be jealous mate.

Podie - Yes, MAN715 would probably do the trick.

Stig - You have mail, though I'm sure you should be busy building an Ultima rather than loitering on here. Have you sold the 460 yet?

Would be mate - but it's on it's way back from the factory after having the body prefit. Busy weekend ahead. 460 not sold yet, only ever advertised here though so am in no desperate hurry. I do seem to have an excess of cc's though - the 460 and the GTR account for 11 litres!!!

11 litres between two cars!

Yup, that sounds about adequate.

While we are on the subject of numberplates, the bloke who works in my local Barclays Bank must be a bit of a 'YOOF' because he drives a black Vauxhall Corsa with silly gold grills, vents & spoilers hanging all over it and in small writing on the bottom of his numberplate it says "Sexual InterCORSA'
FFS!???!!!
