Anyone else have this?

On my TV through the app it's fine, through the firestick it's fine but on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 it's way to dark.
I can turn the brightness up through the app and the whites get brighter but the shadows and dark tones do not.

If I use my Samsung Galaxy S9 plus it is better but still darker than the TV or my wife's ipad.

If I download a realy old APK like V4. 12 other than being crap and glitchy the image is spot on.

If I watch Prime or YouTube it is spot on so no fault with the device its just netflix and only seems to be HDR content like Stranger Things, this is unwatchable, you can't see any thing if it's a dark shot.

I will try netflix CS but no email so getting the details across is a pain.

I can't find any settings on my tablet to do this I think it's HDR by default.

It seems stuff from Netflix that is not in HDR is fine and not too dark.

There was an old trick about setting brightness to max...otherwise it would keep dipping in & out.

Yes, had a play around with that and you can make stuff a little more visible at max brightness, but if I bring up the same thing on my lads Galaxy tab A none HDR it is a great picture, absolute night and day.

Just done a fair bit of Google searches and there are loads of reports about Samsung S8 s9 tab 3 and 4 with HDR on Netflix.
Just another one of those faults that's not big enough for Samsung or Netflix to be bothered fixing.

Real shame because the Tab S3 is still a real good tablet with an otherwise awsome screen.
