We're looking to possibly get rid of our Volvo diesel soon and go all electric and the Hyundai Kona Electric and the Kia Niro EV have caught my eye.
Is their a general opinion on which is better (mainly how it drives/interior/boot space)?
I have a Tesla M3P with home charger already so not bothered about the inferior (non Tesla) public charging network as almost all charging will be done from home.
Will my Tesla type 2 charger also work on either car too?

We have an e Niro on order and have had a couple of short drives and a 24 hour loan.

For us it should fit well, does everything pretty well, isn’t especially thrilling. We chose it over the Kona, which we didn’t bother testing, simply because it’s bigger, a full 4 seater, and has more carrying space.

We think it’ll be perfect for our local and practical needs and have other cars for long trips and leisure.

The Niro is longer (resulting in more rear seat and boot space) and its styling, both inside and out, is more conventional. The drivetrains are identical.

The Niro is a bit larger and the interior is nicer IMHO. Outside I prefer the look of the Kona but otherwise they are pretty similar cars really. Try them both for comfort and if neither stands above the other just get which ever you can get a deal on.
