The husband of a woman at work has a first generation four cylinder SLK that's badged as a 32 AMG and always says that.

I have to bite my tongue and not point out what I know.


It seems like a pointless lie - if you know enough about cars to care, you can see instantly that it's not an AMG. If you're not interested enough to be able to tell, you won't care anyway.
