2020 Macan Turbo
Discussion
I’ve driven two or three new Macan’s and have a 2018 Macan Turbo PP which is basically the same power as the new Macan Turbo. I’d say it’s the best daily driver I’ve ever had in terms of being able to deal with any weather, carrying four people in comfort and being ridiculous good to drive on a country road given it weighs 2 tonnes and is a 4x4.
Only criticism is the rear space is that’s relevant...four adults wouldn’t be good on a long trip. We only ever have kids in the back of ours so not an issue.
Like any Porsche they’re a bit spec sensitive. Only thing I don’t know about current cars is what the chassis is like on the Turbo. On the previous gen the GTS had a sportier chassis than the Turbo and the Turbo PP had the GTS chassis. Personally I love how my Turbo PP drives and would want that in the current car.

Many thanks, I need 4 seats but not on a regular basis , so could be ok, whats the service intervals?. Thanks again.
Service intervals are every two years or 20k miles whichever is the sooner....talking of which mine is going in on Wednesday for it’s first service. I’d also take a look at a used Turbo Performance Pack.....I am guilty of upgrading cars as much as the next bloke but the only real difference in the bigger cars is the new screen...and if you use Apple Car Play the actual bit of the screen dedicated to that is the same size.

Hi anyone have any experience of these?, I have the F90 M5 Comp, and looking at the Turbo to replace the M5.
How does it perform, anything not to like, thanks
MPG. I had one of the previous generation. Nice car. Do I miss it? Nope - not a jot. Was frequently getting sub 10mpg - which is worse than my continental GT!How does it perform, anything not to like, thanks

If buying Turbo, don’t be lured by the cheaper examples without considering:
1. You need warranty for transfer case - they are likely to fail as there is design flaw. There’s just lots to go wrong.
2. The service costs are expensive and major service even more so if that’s due.
3. Brakes and tyres... I saw one that needed new brakes and tyres despite low ish miles. They are delightfully expensive.
Buying OPC for mine made excellent value - I got service free, over 2 years more warranty, and a nice experience to fix inevitable niggles.
Thanks for the sound advice, can't say i'm inspired TBH, will keep the F90 M5 Comp a bit longer.1. You need warranty for transfer case - they are likely to fail as there is design flaw. There’s just lots to go wrong.

I think the Panamera Turbo S or Turbo S e-hybrid would be the more direct competition to your current motor. Maybe you should consider one of these?
I need boot space and the Panamera boot is not big enough. Love a Turbo S, maybe when I don't need 4 seats LOL.W12GT said:
