I have an Octavia VRS 2.0 CR TDI on a 59 plate, had it mapped, makes a massive difference to the car, not had any engine issues in the 3 years ive had it.
I reckon a 25-30 bhp increase and a bunch of torque would be very noticeable. Use a good recognised provider and you should be good. Diesel-turbo seem to respond very well to remaps in my experience.
