Alloy wheel maintenance

hi guys
I had my alloys done, which cost quite a bit. £45 per tyre

and I just got a slight scruff on one of the wheels against a kerb

1. I saw a do it yourself kit on halfords here

does anyone have any experience on it ?


2. With regards alloy wheel health and maintainance, what can I use to keep my alloys shinning. I bought one from tesco and I am sure there must be better ones out there
