A BIG thank you ...

to the following:
1) The Fiat Panda driver who, despite a speed differential of around 50mph and the fact that there was nothing for some 100 yards behind me, pulled out in front of me and continued at 20mph for about 50 yards before turning into a driveway!
2) The driver of the blue Mercedes van who tailgated me so closely that I could see the fan behind the grill (and that was all I could see in my rear-view mirror) ... for some three miles of the M25 when it was clear there was no chance of me pulling in to the nearside! Having been travelling in traffic at 55 mph some five car lengths behind the car in front, I finally accelerated away when the road ahead cleared.
3) The 'rentavan' driver who decided to pull out into the outside lane of the M25 every time he came to a hill, slowing traffic by some 20mph on each occasion and causing some 'panic braking' behind him!
4) The Megane driver who thought it was funny to block me every time I tried to get into the inside lane to take the exit that was 1 mile, 3/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile, 200 yards, 150 yards, 100 yards, 50 yards ahead ... then made a mistake when I feinted a rapid slow down and left a big enough gap for me to accelerate through onto the slip road!
5) The old chap in the red Sierra who was reversing down the slip road!
6) The driver of the yellow lorry who decided to go straight on from the inside lane (where the two left hand lanes turn left). Thank heavens his tailgate was higher than my bonnet!
To you all, I hope your camels get the pox ... and your wives and mistresses too!

Theres always one. Jibbering old fools usually prefer Nissan Micras and Rover 214s from my experience...[/quote]
Last one I saw was an exceptionally drunk Range Rover driver who reversed into my car because he couldn't see it out the back of his 4x4... thankfully I was stationary at the time and he wasn't going much above 0.005mph
Worst driving I've seen recently was last Sunday evening on the A17 Sutton Bridge - Kings Lynn stretch. Single carriageway, moderately busy both directions and some berk in a silver Vauxhall Astra was overtaking everything he could, missing oncoming traffic by what can only have been inches. As I remarked at the time - a coffin waiting to happen...
Well, I'll pass on my thanks as well then. To the tit in a yellow van this morning on the M3 J10 Hockley, who, despite lane 2 being free, wouldn't move over so I could join the motorway. I did anyway, about 6 inches in front of him, whereupon he tootled his pathetic, inadequate little hooter at me. I now beg forgiveness from the PH massif, for I lightly brake tested him. Well, to be honest, I touched the brake pedal so my brake lights came on. Did the trick though, he bowed his nose in acknowledgement (at least, I think thats what he was doing) and promptly scrubbed enough speed off to allow me to continue my merry way unbridled. Chaos behind though, as cars were going in all directions (this last bit is a blatant lie!!)
to the young lady in a 206 approaching stationary traffic coming off the slip road on the A406 who decided to pull into the middle lane (reasonable enough move) without checking mirror/shoulder. The middle lane being occupied, the surprised occupant did very well not to cut-up those flying past in the outside lane.
However, young lady eventually realises she's sharing the middle lane and panic's in a bad way. Followed by erratic swerving inside double-occupied lane and eventually pulling back into previously mentioned stationary traffic. First meeting in this lane was with a stationary big red bus. 30mph-zero.... 0.25 seconds.
The 206 driver was directly in front of me but thankfully the whole thing happened at 30mph max and the guy behind me was alert enough not to pile over all over my back window. Cheers to him/her.

I'd like to thank the people who every day try to go right from the lefthand lane on my local roundabout. I'm used to it now though, could have been a nasty blond tart/ford ka/lampost incident tonight though! Oh, and the scooter who tried to overtake me on a single carriageway at 50mph :/
M11, 4:25 this morning. Heading for Stanstead for the weekend flights to/from Prestwick.
Freelander 1" from rear of Polo.
Inside lane has 6 HGV in convoy plus assorted cars at 56 as well so NO you can't get past as it's
A 2 lane motorway and
The inside lane is FULL of metal.
I wasn't exactly hanging about but I est your speed to have been about 30/40mph faster than me.
At the first opportunity I move over to let you pass only to be thanked by repeated "the big two" from that piece of feminine garbage next to you.
Oh, and you have NO idea how satisfying it was to sit behind you in the queue for the long term parking at Stanstead 3 miles down the road.
Next time try and get out of your pit in time.
MoJo.
ps The flight was fine. You know, the Scottish exec REALLY have got these express busses rolling and on time!! I even got dropped off 200 yds from my house!!
Bargain!!!.

Can i also add my thanks to the dipstick on the Motor Bike who decided a residential street was a suitable place to practice his wheelies today. You do your fellow bikers a huge dis-service sir. This was a fully leather-clad biker on a nice sports bike, not some scrote on a beat up off-roader...
You also look a complete tool when you slam the front wheel back on the ground and jam on the anchors because you can't tell the difference between a "civilian" OctaviaRS and one of Cleveland's Unmarked Finest.

I think yesterday was National Numpty Day by the looks, saw some great numptiness myself. I'd like to thank the bloke in the Corsa who was so close to my rear number plate making our cars looked like a stretched limo, a TVRauxhall. Also the bloke who undertook to find a car on the inside and decided to pull back in infront of me nearly taking out my nearside wing if I hadn't braked. And finally the knobhead who decided to hit the brakes at 70 without indicating in the outside lane as they approached a rather congested exit from the A tonne 2 7.
Every feckin inbred tw@t who was on the M42 at the roadworks last night. Every night, it`s down to one lane and the truckies negotiate it without incident. Add a few pillocks on their way to holiday homes in Scunthorpe (that`s where they put the rest of them) and it all goes udders upwards resulting in a 40 minute jam.
Oh and if you are the t
t in the red nova who threw a bottle at the Focus just because he had the temerity to toot you when you forced him off the road - I hope you got a knock on the door last night, cos th Fuzz have got your number matey.

the stupid blonde bint in the silver ford puma who entered the a127 at the a130 @ just after 0710 yesterday in a line of cars and then decides to swing across the white chevrons, across infront of a car on the inside lane and straight out onto the outside lane, trying to occupy the piece of road i was on (queue heavy braking, swearing, dixie horns and main beam chorus).......here is your future warning...my car is alot heavier (and stronger) than yours and due to the age of the car it may be that next time i wont be able to slow down as quickly.......and you REALY dont want to be MY crumple zone!! ......as for the unindecated violent lane changing and rediculously close tailgating you did i have only one thing to say.....i REALY hope the old bill spot you doing these moves as you are a danger to not only yourself but (more importantly) to everyone on the road......but as essex traffic plod are never on the roads now i suppose it wont be until you cause a multiple pile-up or kill someone that you'll finally get caught.
secondly
to the 2 young ladies in the sky blue ford ka doing 60mph (max) whilst sat in the osl on the a127 (westbound) this evening......when there is a queue of traffic waiting to pass you and the inside lane is clear
ING MOVE OVER!. the biggest clue to you being in the wrong lane should have been when you started to be undertaken by irate drivers and the people doing it were sounding their horns at you but that was obviously a bit 'clouds*' for you wasnt it as you just sat there and made everyone pass you on the n/s.....its obviously time to get a set of earplugs to stop the air going through your head love.
its definatly a weekend for numpties......where are they all coming from??

Sorry to hear your woes but nothing changed at the A127/A130 intersection then..?
And the outside lane slugs down the westbound A127, sadly quite normal, methinks!

naah.....its got worse if anything, there seems to be some sort of 'brain removal' device that comes into effect when the drivers get onto the entry sliproad from the 130 to the 127.

they are a pain in the arse arent they, funnily when im going to work in the evening there is a definate majority of them that sit in the osl only to swing into non-existant gaps right ontop of the a130 junction so there must be some connection with my 'brain removal device' thinking.....
tbh the eastbound carriageway during the early morning realy is a nightmare, usually the osl is occupied by either doctors and nurses going to southend hospital who seem to think that because they are turning right just before tesco's that it gives them the right to hog the osl for 10 miles prior to it (ive seen them sitting in the osl, clear on their n/s and with an ambulance or a police car up their chads with the blues and two's on....and they just sit there like plums) OR its commuterman/woman who doesnt want to be on the inside as its got the lurgies or something but wont keep up with the traffic flow on the outside, causing gaps of monumental proportions between themselves and the car in front and a long line of drivers left waiting to pass the arsehole but because they (the people behind) dont understand the rules on 'legal' undertaking they just sit there....and sit there.....and sit there getting more and more wound up.
i wouldnt be suprised if there is a serious roadrage incident on that stretch soon due to these numptys, its well overdue imho*.
