Saw this one on Facebook earlier today - shared, of course, by a left-leaning associate. To be fair to him when I pointed out the actual content of the story rather than the headline he admitted to not having read it and removed the link from social media

When you read the story, he has recently come out as gay and has separated from his wife, there were 2 people there celebrating her 40th birthday - and the MP wasn't even one of them

I think that there is some leeway with regards to relationship breakdown surely - especially in light of the domestic violence issues that have arisen

He may have been locked down in his London residence, though not officially separated at first

We don't have that info, but I certainly don't think that justifies the totally incorrect reporting in this piece
