It was circling around 4 times, we were in a field in Pensford and noticed it. There was a big chopper about 1/2 before as well.

Sorry for the crap pictures by the time my old legs got of the picnic mat it was off again.



It is heading in the direction of Bristol Airport but then kept coming round and this was around 14:45 yesterday or later to 15:10 if you want to consult the flightradar thingy.

It was an A400M, it came over East Bristol around 2030

Looks more like it but it was around east Bristol for hours, I live in East and was sat in a field in Pensford.

Didnt not see it once we got home around 5pm

Get the flight radar app, comes in handy for questions like this.
Be warned, you will waste an hour or so the first time you use it just idly looking at all the planes in the air around you.

Also over West Bristol today, what looked like a C130K, but there are no RAF C130Ks so far as I can tell. I'm sure it had the big fuel tanks between the engines, whatever it was. I saw the A400 this evening, we also had a Merlin pottering about Lulsgate at the same time.

The A400m was circling Glasgow late last night/early this morning.
